Well it happened last night my truck was defiled my 3 week old pionner cd player was ripped out of the dash while they left the amp go figure. My question does anyone have any suggestions for a better way to mount a cd player to make it that more diificult to remove in a 85 f150 . Plus anyone have an opiopn on a Blankpunkt Vline seieris cd player . Foud a killer online deal .

there should be a place in the back of the the cd player where you can put a bolt. just use that to mount it to any part of the body/frame or anything secure.

something Ive learned over the years is that if some one really wants something you or any one else has they WILL get it
its just a matter of if they get caught or not
I would personally lean more towards a vehicle security system
sorry to hear bout ur loss

I tend to agree with brianas, if they want your stereo they will get it. Unless you're waiting behind them with a crowbar

I agree with the rest that if they want it they will get it, my dad taught me the old school trick of putting some straight razors on the bottom, so when you reach under and grab it they get all cut up.

Bolt the rear of the stereo and run a cable from it to a spot down low like under the carpet on the floor. I use a bike type cable to bolt on the floor board. Most good Ins. companys will replace the aftermarket product if it was damaged but not taken.
