Hey guys....i am having an extremly hard time figureing out what vehicle my engine came from.
I'm trying to get motor mounts but can't seem to find the right set. (It's the only thing stopping my engine install.)
The block number i got off it is D1VE 6015 A2E
if anyone can find out for me or recommend a good website for me to look at....please let me know....please.
My book says a 71 Lincoln 460 engine also....What are you putting it in? I think the blocks are the same (engine mount wise)for each engine family you should be able to get the mounts for the application you are putting it in.
The block casting number you have was used from 71 until at least 78, if not later, in everything from Lincolns to 2wd trucks. Try www.landlproducts.com for mounts to swap the engine into your truck.
