You'll have to use a Dana 44 high pinion from a 78-79 F-150. you can use back to a 73 f-150, but they are low pinion. They don't regular many mods.

F-250 or F-350 axles will not fit without severe mods.

i discourage those b/c they just want your money. I bought a D60 front out of a DRW F350 for $1000...came with everything including tires/rims, shocks, steering, track bar, brakes, 4wd hubs, and leafs(check out my gallery). That's what you need to look for. don't go pay $2500 for a kit when you can do it all for a heck of a lot less than $1000. A D44 will prolly run ya $400-$500. and if ya need any parts we have plenty laying around over here...give me a holler!

Easy. get a donor F-350 85.5-97 F-350 4x4 and get to work. everything bolts up.

I think 92 and up have balljoints instead of king pins. I don't know if that is good or bad though.

??????????????????????????? since when?

just like Bremen said...everything bolts stright up to 3/4 and up...even the trac bar surprisingly!

1/2's have coil springs and are a lil trickier!

fishmann:

when you remove the passenger pivot bracket, the trackbar mount goes in its place, right?

btw, which are better? I know kingpins are a b%4ch to change, but being they are steel, they probably take a little more abuse?
