i have an 82 f150 and i would really like to swap out the ifs for a straight axle i wasthinking i could use the same year truck but possible f250 if any one knows how to do this or nows what axle to use it would be great help
i discourage those b/c they just want your money. I bought a D60 front out of a DRW F350 for $1000...came with everything including tires/rims, shocks, steering, track bar, brakes, 4wd hubs, and leafs(check out my gallery). That's what you need to look for. don't go pay $2500 for a kit when you can do it all for a heck of a lot less than $1000. A D44 will prolly run ya $400-$500. and if ya need any parts we have plenty laying around over here...give me a holler!
