Hooking up coil HELP!

I know this isnt a place for jeeps but i hav used this site alot and the principle is the same. Im working an older jeep engine with all the wiring removed and need to wire up a coil. obviously the wire on top goes to the distributor. what are the other two terminals on top of the coil for and how do i wire them? is one + and on- or what? thanks for any help

Ok, assuming it is points ignition, there should be one wire coming out of the dist, that goes on the _ side, and then hook your + side up to a switch power source.
