Unhappy I need Help NOW

how fast would you have to be going in a 96 ford ranger on dry pave to leave 36 foot skid marks and still hit a car at 29 mph????? i need this info as soon as possible i only have till 9 pm tonight this night in new hampshire of january 27 2004
because i have a court case coming up tomorrow morning at 9 am and i need to prove myself innocent as in me being the victim and not the cause.

Depends on a couple of things. The type of tire (coefficient of friction), the weight of the truck are the two biggest things. If it was on a hill, that affects things too.

well, since the people around here are jerks and won't tell me, i don't know the weight they were 15 inch good years on a slight lift kit the hill was a slight 10% grade just dry pavement all the way
thats all the info i know, and the weight would be a normal ford ranger XL nothing special

Ok, with a coefficient of friction of .75 (info I find says tires vary from ~.6 to .8) and not taking into account the incline, I get ~31 mph. With a lower Cf, he would have been going a bit slower - not much, but slower none the less.
