moaning noise?

moaning noise?
1990 f-350 7.3 with ATS turbo, making a moaning noise when accelerating around 45 mph @ 2000 rpm's, or when truck is kind of under a load (going up hill). It kinda sounds like a sick cat meowing. Turbo still winds up fine and trans is new. Could it possibly be the pwer steering pump? or vacuum pump?
