Spring Clamp POS
I want to talk to the guy at Ford engineering, who decided that the good old fasion hose clamp, needed to be done away with so it can be replaced by some POS spring clamp that breaks in half and allows my bottom rad hose to pump ,to spew anti freeze all over the intersection on a nice hot summer night. Yup what a great piece of equipment!! it's got a whole 3,900 miles on it, before the metal fatigue set in.
Well guys just wanted to let you know to keep an eye on that junky spring clamp, and maybe carry a old hose clamp in your glove compartment just in case.

Unfotuunately He will just refer you to the bean counter that wanted this type of clamp to save $$$ and put a feather in his cap at our expense.
You aren't the first one to experience this. It's a damn shame that with today's technology and the price of vehicles as they are that anyone has to deal with such a stupid failure.I hope it didn't cause you too many problems.
I had to limp it to my ford hating, chebby loving friends house for a clamp.
Now , he didn't laugh in my face, but I know after I left he was laughing.
I guess so if ford says they ###### up, and makes good and gives everone real clamps to replace their junk clamps.
