red light in door panel?
When changing my mirrors out a few years ago you have to remove that red lense cover at the bottom of the door I have a 99 super duty and I notice their was wiring their and a plug for a light my question is will the light work and does anyone no what size the blub is? thanks and take care and happy travels

Cool. Guess it's just one more thing they "stripped out" in later models. Neither my '00 nor my '01 XLT had the lights.

were you saying 99's xlt's and xl's didn't have them?
I think xl's don't .
