Brakes And Bigger Tires?

I am currently installing a 4in lift on my 86 f150 ext cab 2wd with 33x1250x15 tires. However, I feel I will need more stopping power after I do this mod.Are my feelings right about this?and if so what should I do to the brakes to achieve my goal.Any suggestions appreciated.

You should be fine with the 33's and stock brakes. The tire isn't going to change your braking power under normal driving conditions. You may notice when you are carring a load or pulling a trailer. But just give yourself a little more room to stop. I don't think there are many mods that you can go with other than maybe ceramic pads and rotors that are capable of running with the ceramic pads. Look into 2 piston calipers also if you want more stopping power.

I agree with the above. You may notice a slight increase in stopping distances, so be cautious at first. The cost of upgrading you brake system with all of the fancy aftermarket parts will likely not be worth it to you. Just keep the stock setup in good working order and you'll be fine.
