another V10 exhuast ?
ok, i ve been down the road on my last truck with stainless jba headers and stainless gibson cat back. and for the 800 bucks i spent and the many hours it took to install i was not impressed!!!
so on my new truck im thinking a flowmaster 50 series muffler, and a stainless tip. has anyone done this and how do you like it?
I just wondered what series muffler would sound the best with V-10.
and the stock tail pipe?

Well if you can wait for a few days I'll be putting a Flowmaster 40 series w/the stock tailpipe on my Excursion.
I'll be making a sound clip and posting a small install how-to on my FTE website.
I also hope to do a dyno run before and after. Not that I'm expecting anything, I just want to see.
I will also do the same before and after with a K&N install on a modified airbox. Biggest bummer is that the box is already modified so I'm unable to get a true stock baseline. My paper was still in very nice shape and I hate throwing good stuff away.
So, anyway...I'll keep you posted if you want.
