window sweeps for tailgate window

thanks for the info, was starting to think i was going to be screwed finding any help. by the way keep track of coolant and oil in your 4.2, ford is still having some problems with coolant leaks from front cover. (worked at ford garage until recent pinched nerve) thanks again, bigd

When you talk about tailgait window sweep, is that the rubber sweep looking thing that sits on top of the tailgait where the window meets the gait? It is outside and fastened on the top of the edge of the gait where the window disappears when it is rolled down. Mine happens to be all cracked up. I still can't figure out how I never got a Bronco without the tailgait rust? Oh well thanks...

yea same piece, and you are real lucky on rust. reason i'm rounding up parts is to replace my tailgate. just bought mine and gate is toast and am replacing. if anyone is looking for good deals on used parts guy i've dealt with is great, forford@comcast.net , sold me a clean gate for my truck and $$$ were easy on the wallet!
