Interior Dome light Revisited
Have 2002 Ranger ext. cab, 4x4, 4.0L w 5-speed.
Most times when opening either door, dome light fails to come on. Some times it does. Not all that excited about such a small issue, but this weekend I discovered that when the dome light is in non-operable mode, so is the glovebox light. Now why would the dome light failing to come on cause the glovebox light to fail to come on? To me, the glovebox light is more useful than the dome light. So now I gotta fix this problem... (sigh...)
Have read to use WD40 on door latches. Attracts dust/dirt; don't like the idea. Would dry graphite powder or moly be better?
Tried search - no luck.
Thanks in advance for any input.
