Hey guys Im back and I need help

Ok guy’s I’m replacing the CJ in my truck with the 460 out of my F350. I want your suggestions

1. Should I De-stroke this unit?

2. I need a new style header the set I had was too big (3.5" tubes) what size should i go with for maximum torque? And I plan on fabricating this set also

3. What cam should I use?

Welcome back

Why would you want to destroke it? Long stroke and big cubic inches are how you make stump pullin' torque.

1 3/4" should be fine for a torque building header.

A good RV camshaft. I would recommend looking into CompCams, they have camshafts specifically designed for 4x4's.

Sorry stroke, not de-stroke. Three months in a hospital bed has turned my brain into mush.

Longer stroke = torque.
Shorter stroke = horsepower.

Anytime somebody has their 460 already sitting out and are wondering whether or not to stroke it I typically answer with a resounding "yes". Its really more of a money/time issue than a good idea/bad idea deal. I pretty much guarantee if you don't you'll always wish you had...
