Well, I think that when I get a wiring diagnostic check on my fuelpump/sending unit, I think that it will do better but I just thought I'd ask if there may be something to do to help my fuel consumption problem.

You might start with a tune up (plugs, wires, etc) if you havn't done one in a while.
I have a 93 F-150 with a 5.0 engine, an e40d trannie, and I was just told that I may have an 8.8 rear end. Even after a tuneup it still sucks the gas down like a dam has busted and the flood is going downhill.

No, I haven't pulled any codes and I never really thought about checking the 02 sensor. I live in the big city of Dublin, Ga., or as we like to call it, Dumblin.

If you pre-start your vehicles to let them warm up in the winter that's why you get less MPG. You're really getting the same MPG, because you're not moving while it's idling to warm up. LOL
I have gotten 13.5 mpg once or twice in my truck, thats the best I can do.
