Shelf it

Ok here's the deal, I have a reg cab 95 and I have a lunar visor on it, I was wondering if anybody has a visor and a shelf it? Does it block too much area off? Anybody with advice or pics would be helpful, wanna know if it's worth it.

My dad had on in his 96 f-150. There is about a 2 inch gap between the headliner and the shelf. If your not tall you wont have a effect on vision.

Its great for putting crap like paper, and stuff up there, but then in turns it slides back and forth. We hada CB mounted to it, and going down the road, cause it to vibrate alot, due to the weight on it.

Check out there website http://www.shelfit.com/shelfit.asp

I have a 87 F350 with a Steel Horse Shelf. I like it and I am 6'1" also. However, I do bump my head alot on it if I don't watch out. LOL. I agree with COWBOY, Things do shake off of it while driving. But when you are driving a 4x4 everything shakes.
I did not attach the sun visors to the shelf. They made it too low and did block my vision. Whenever, the sun gets in my eyes I just sit up straighter. I do not think I would hang anything of great weight off of the shelf. It will definetly breach its integrity. I would like to block the space between the shelf back and the windshield to stop things from going over. I will let you know what I think up.

No I don't notice the shelf as I am driving. I also have the stock Bench seat. No pics as of yet.
BTW it was very easy to install. just remove the sunvisors and bolt the shelf up in their place.

I have a shelf in my BII. I like it. It is good for sunglasses the cd case. It can't take much weight. I don't visors on it, they blocked to much
My dad has one on his F350 he likes it as well. Stuff does slide around on them though.

Had a shelf-it in my ranger. It was handy cause I put a power strip up there and then could have my cell phone and radar detector mounted where the cords wern't hanging around. Put the visors on but then took them off they blocked to much area out but I am 6' tall, plus the visors mounted folding back towards the driver so I kept hitting my nead. Did not have any problems with things falling out from either side though.
