NOS Floormats?

NOS Floormats?
Don't laugh too hard about this question. Did Ford produce a floormat for the 73-79 truck? I don't mean the one piece rubber mat for the cab (already have it) but individual L/R one piece floor mats to go over the carpet or one piece rubber mat. If so were they for the Lariat (carpet) only or for a Custom as well? I would like to have a period correct simple all black mat that fits the floor without looking like I went to Pecker Boys or Autozone. Thanks.

I have a '78 Ranger Lariat that I bought from the original owner of the truck. The original owner indicated that dealer did not have separate mats available for the left and right sides of the truck. He did, however, purchase a set of thick black mats with nibs on the back to hold in place and a lip around the outside to keep water on the mat. Though not period correct, it did accomplish the same purpose; the carpet underneath looks brand new.
