Need Help!!!
I have done a few engine swaps in my time, but I wanted to make sure of something. I am swapping a 5.8 out of a 1989 F-250 2wd for my daughters freind and I am suppose to install the same engine. But after starting to disconnect some electrical connecters something seemed weird, so I went to the other engine which is out of a 1991 f-250 and noticed the connecters were different (example: distributor). Is the wiring and computer system different on a 1989 f-250 vs. a 1991 F-250. Any info would be great.

The 89 More than likely has a diffrent ignition, dose it still have the Dura Spark system? if it does i would stick with it but some one else with more knowlage could be more help.
