How do I go about on taking off the manuel window handel on a 2k4 F250 XL... I'm trying to replace the stock speakers in the door with some aftermarket spekers I had on my pervious truck.

You'll have to take off the crank cover. The piece that makes up the front of the crank and that has a line going across the width of it is just a snap-on cover. To take it off, point the crank straight up. Take a medium flat blade screw driver stick it behind the crank straight down and pop the cover's off the crank hub (the part that is attached to the door) one side at a time. Then pull the cover towards you a bit and move it to the side. Now you can see the screw in it's recess attached to the crank hub. Bad news is: Yes, its a damn TORX screw. You'll have to go get a set of small/medium torx screwdrivers. You can't use torx bits because it won't fit in the recess. OR you can use an Allen wrench if you can find one that fits.

Too bad they cant make it easy to take off... Thanks!! I'll try that and see what happens.
