Shift kit
How hard is it to install a shift kit in a 79 c6 2wd, behind a 351. I found one in northern auto parts, part number K369089B. What is all involved? Can i do it in ther truck, or does the tranny have to be removed?

It easy and simple to do in the truck if you can get the pan off the trans. It involves removing the valve body. Pay attention to the torque values and borrow wrench that will work in the 10-20 pound range. You should be able to do it in a couple of hours.
