What is the best, comprehensive manual for the Superduty truck. I've decided to re-live my bracket drag racing days (Mopars) and work on my own s*&.... er, truck again....
I think Haynes is coming out with a book soon. I know how you feel. I can't even count the number of times I've wanted a manual at my disposal. I even had the Ford Owner's Bible when I had my '95 F150. Anything I can learn on my own about all the doohickeys and watchamacallits they're putting under the hood nowadays is one less trip to the dealership and one more way for me to tinker for more hp.
I beleive you have to buy their "program", once you spend the money on that, then you can pick and choose the cd's you want.
Unfortunetly, I think it's a pretty hefty price.

Just close this thread out, I talked with my ford dealer and he advised me that I can use their manuals anytime I wanted. I told them that I wanted my own cuz a manual aint worth SQUAT if the pages dont have grease prints on them.
My dealer then advised me that I could use their PA number to order a manual from Helm or Mitchell or one of the others that publish them and they would call me when it came in. I said thanks.... then I say what they cost:-staun ...
I think I'll wait unit Haynes or Chiltons come out with one...
