Post Manual Locking Hubs

I have a 1987 F-150 4x4 with a 4.9L6. I am a new 4x4 owner and have some questions. I have manual locking hubs. I am looking for a good manual that shows the complete breakdown on the front hubs. Some manuals I have looked at only show auto hubs only. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

My Haynes manual shows them, but just the basics. IF there is any doubt there is something wrong with them I would just replace them.
