I'm looking into a shift kit for my truck. I have a store copy catalog that lists B&M shift improver and the next step up, B &M transpak but none of the application listings include the SD's.
Has anyone used the B&M brand? If so, whta are the noticeable differences. I hate the way the truck "slides" into gears. I would like the firm shift. The Diablo chip I had in it helped but after that malfunctioned, I dont think I want to put it back in.
i got a 84 f-250 with a c-6 auto and a 351W. i installed the b&m shift kit improver in it. i put it on the r/v and heavy-duty setting. the 1-2 shift is very firm and you feel it, and the 2-3 shift is firm and slightly feel it. you can feel them both, unlike stock.
