Question Vintage coins

Does anyone know anything about old U.S. coins or know where I can go to find out info on them. I have a few that were given to me by my dad and would just like to know more about them.

I am just wondering if a 1929 Dollar coin I have has a misprint on it. Where it says, "In god we trust." instead of a u in trust there is a V so it looks like trvst. I just want to know if that is supposed to be that way.

Old US coins used a U that looked like a V. Its not a mistake. You can find all kinds of info on coins by doing searches on yahoo.--Jack
