cab replacement
Quick question to all. My 85 F250 has a serious rotted firewall, so much so that I have added a brace to the clutch master cylinder to hold it in place. I can repair the rust or replace the cab. What cabs are the same just 80-86 or are the 87-91's also the same, or is it up till 97?? Does it matter AC or non AC??

you can use a cab from 80-96 on 1/2 and 97 on 3/4 up trucks. the really only diffirence is inside the cab. to use some of the newer cabs you'll have to rewire somethings. for a real easy find the mid 80's with the 460 before the went EFI it's pretty much same as yours. but any cab is do-able. it don't matter if it's AC or non AC cab if you don't plan to have AC, but if you've got AC go with a AC cab so no headaches running ducts and mount ya AC stuff to fire wall.
