leaky head?

anyone know how I can tell if my heads are leaking in my 2.9 without having to take them off. It runs but skips, I got spark at eack cylinder and the timing is dead on. Gonna do a compression test, any more ideas?

cylinder leakage is the best test you can run to look for leaking head gaskets.

How old are the spark plug wires? Installing new ones could fix a "runs but skips" problem. It worked for me -- the missing only occurrred under load, such as climbing a hill at low speed.
