headers for a 300

i recently put on a flowmaster 40 series with dula rear exit it sounds good but just a little ricey in the upper ranges of the engine. i heard a set of headers will give it more of a low V8 tone and also add some performance. i was wondering where i could get hearders for my truck. i cant find them on jegs but i found clifford headers for ike 300 thats a little pricy. so can u give me your opinion and also where i can find these
my setup
1996 F-150 XL
300 I-6 2wd
Flowmaster 40 series dual rear exit

summitracing has em for 136. its a tight fit, but they work. also may need to weld on some sensor bungs, but its not that big of a deal.

I have Hooker super comp headers for my 89'. I spent about 350 on them about 8 years ago. With the cam i'm using its sounds like a pretty nasty v8 at idle but when you revved it up it in the 4000 to 6000 range sounds like a outboard boat motor. But unfortunatly the truck is in pieces and is getting parted out.
