Another Code P0420-Check engine light
I have a 1996 F150 4X4 with the 4.9l engine. Like many other posts I have the check engine light on with the P0420 code. I have read about several others with this problem and could use some clarification. I have read that this could be either an O2 sensor problem or a bad catalytic converter. A reply from another forum said that this is a cat problem 9 times out 0f 10. My engine seems to be running fine. Could this be possible with a bad converter? Any help would be appreciated!
