Almost Done

Well, after months of on and off working on my truck, trying to change the head gaskets, I'm finally done. Now before I start it up tomorrow(dont have a battery right now), is there anythign I should do or check. I've changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and the plugs. Its been sitting for about 3 years, so take that into consideration.

I'm not sure its correct or not, but I usually spin the engine with the coil wire out to pump some oil to the engine before I try to fire it. Good luck.

i'd put some clean oil in it, just for safe measures. And if you have sufficient funds, i'd just give it a complete tune up while your under the hood, you know, plugs, wires, fluids (oil, coolant, etc.), filter and such. As long as you got everything apart you might as well do all that stuff too, unless it was recently done.

I've already done all that, new oil, coolant, plugs, power steering fluid, bled the brakes, new air filter.

Just keep an eye on the coolant level as it's warming up. Also watch for obvious problems such as oil leakage, overheating, etc. I highly doubt they will surface but be on guard is all.

Fire it up! Look and listen. Shut it down if something is wrong.

Alright, but when I fill up the raditator, should I put in coolant, then water, or water then coolant?
