Basically none, especially with the laws the way they are written, it is almost impossible. They have very heavy rules about inspections which makes getting rid of a four year old car the only option. It helps drive the Japanese economy. Plus, there are heavy taxes on anything over 2.0 liters.
If you saw the report, Ford lost by a mere 7.2 to a 7.6...im not sure if thats the exact number but it was dang close...who knows...maybe Ford will be winner next year with the new mustang and what not...but GM won by a huge amount...i think it was 8.2 million cars...thats alot...and I dont think Toyroach will be able to beat GM...
