97-2003 60/40 split bench in a 71 ford f-100
So here it is. will a 60/40 split bench seat out of a 1997-2003 ford f-150 work in a 1971 ford f-100 swb? If so what kind of modifications will have to be made?

I found bucket seats and a console out of a 93 Lariat, and attempted to mount them in my 70 swb, after drilling new holes, using lots and lots of washers w/ the longer bolts and never getting the seats quite level, I pulled them and traded for an original 70 bench, Lesson Learned!
