The Mountanieer is based off the Explorer if I am correct.
i WOULDN'T CHANGE A DAMN THING ON THIS TRUCK as far as tires go.
PLus most shops won't touch it unless your putting on an OE tire. They just had to many problems with the Explorer issue's for shops to take up the liability of putting a different tire on there. Even if it is the same over all diameter the side wall flex will be different. This can cause braking problems and cornering issues. Every manuel I have has a disclaimer from Ford in it saying to only run an original fitment, passenger rated, "all terrain" tire.
It may not be a problem right away but you won't know it untill your trucks upside down.
