i was at lowes the other day and paked next to a fellow super duty driver(habit). anyhow his was an 02 4 door that was white with a silver bottom but the white wasnt the same as mine. it seemed brighter. i was just wondering if it was a different shade or if the silver just made it look different.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Jun-02 AT 06:22 AM (EST)]I believe that for 02, Oxford white is still the only shade of white offered. I know for 03, they have introduced some new colors for the SD's.
EDIT: I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time!!
Funny you should mention that. I was at a job site when this reg cab, V10, 4x4 F250 parked next to me. It looked brand new and was the same white but looked brighter. I think that if ANY dirt gets on a white colored vehicle, no matter how little, the white will appear less bright. Hec, even when I paint white, if there is rain that gets a little dirt on the trim later on, it looks a lot duller. Also, I don't know as much about automotive paint, but certain whites tend to fade pretty fast. It really isn't noticeable until you put a fresh white next to it. Just my 2 cents.
