If you are just looking for a decent performance upgrade, you can go with the Edelbrock power package. You can get an intake manifold, decent carb, cam, and timing set for a decent price. You can get all of that for somewhere in the neighborhood of $700. If you are looking for more, try Comp Cams, Crane, or possibly Lunati. I would also recommend exhaust headers. You can get those from Hooker, Hedman, and other places. Look around this forum. There's a lot of smart people with good advice in here. Good luck.
