4R44E code 1502 recurring problem.

4R44E code 1502 recurring problem.
This problem comes and goes with no regularity. Today is the first time the 1502 code came up.
Before today, everything showed VSS. The speed sensor was replaced with a required differential rebuild. Also the pick up in the tranny has been changed.
Anyone familiar with this problem? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Al.

The diff was howling from abuse(company truck). The speed sensor was changed at that time as to complete the package.
So, your best guess would be continuity test the wiring?
