i have a 78 supercab and only on cold mornings when i get in the truck,the first 3 or 4 times i step on the brakes they are hard as a rock and the truck is very hard to stop. and after a few times they will get back to normal.....why????? is it in the master cylinder or the brake booster ? or..........
do you have power brakes if so then it is most likley the booster
where the vacuum line attaches look at the check valve.
also check out the hose from the manifold.
Booster most likely, mine did the same thing. Replace the booster and MC assy as a unit then you won't have to go thru trying to adjust the pushrod inside.
