HP & torque

Anybody have any idea how much hoursepower and torque is in a '95 5.8l fuel injected engine?

215HP, 325 FT-LBs Torque. That is from memory but I believe it is correct.

and the 351 makes that torque at about 2800 rpm and HP at 3800

bcf, hp 3800rpm and tq 2800rpm


1987 351 210hp and 315tq (4bbl)
same rpm as above, max redline about 5500 to 6000 rpm

hey thanks, dose anyone know how to calulate in mods? im trying to figure out about what im pushing, with no cats no air pump, open element (5X14 baby) k&n and a low restriction exhaust. any ideas how i figure this out?

do you have a 4bbl 351? anyway u have to about guess on your power. what do you mean by low restriciton exhaust no mufflers or what?

Yes 4bbl stock carb, and lo restriction meaning it is a summit dual 3" cat back system, except with no cats, you can pretty much see through the muffler. it sounds like a flowmaster but with less guts to the muffler. it is dual after the muffler not true duals but sounds cool.

no cat 5hp
air filter 5hp
smog 10hp
so that about 25 more hp then stock imo.
