cabmount bushings

cabmount bushings
i have the cab off my 78 supercab frame,but how does the bushings come off the frame? i cant tell if they unscrew or just pry off. i looked at some in a catalog and they look as if they screw together,but these old ones seem to have a mind of there own.what is the trick that i am missing????

yep,thats the ones.and the hacksaw worked great.i guess if i had calmed down and give some thought it might have came too me.....but thats why we have FTE too help us help each other.

Fantastic!! Glad my pix helped you. I would have never thought about the hacksaw method either until I heard somebody in this forum mention it. It's a pretty popular topic, so I made some pictures of it. Next I need to start shaving the firewall for a custom street rod. Will post pix on that later
yeah.....there are some R-E-A-L rocket scientists out there for sure....
Have a great one - let us know how your bushings go; as you can see, I'll need to start replacing these in about a month (too cold to work on the cab when it's 17 degrees outside!!).
