Crew Cab Bed Length

Do 8 foot bed crew cabs exist or are they all short beds? mine is about 6 1/2 or 7 feet. all that i have seen are short.

The 2wd crewcab that I have seen are 8' beds. My 4x4 crewcab is a shorty. Be nice to the box, they are very hard to find!

It's too late. the box was junk when i got it. The guy i got it from used to haul scrap in it. I want to put an 8 footer on it.

Just curious, are the beds on the 4x4 crew cabs the same dimensionally as regular cabs?

Yes they are. they will bolt right up.

your truck is sweet!! I have the supercab and a question to ad to the bed length. Does anyone else have a built in tool box on the passenger side of the bed? My supercab has the 8 foot bed

In 1979, F-250 crewcabs were 6 foot and F-350s were 8 foot. Found this info in my 79 pickup brochure.
