I am needing to replace the automatic door locks as well as a speaker in my passenger side front door panel. Is there any tricks to get the door panel off (hidden screws???) or will the panel just pop off. Thanks in advance for the info. This is a really great site. Everyone is very helpfull, without any bashing of the less knowledgeable people.
Besides the screws that are in plain site, their are one or two behind the door light lens and maybe one under the switches. I replaced my mirrors a couple of months ago and I am going from memory. When all of the screws are out and you have disconected the switches the panel is ready to come off. It is real important that you lift up on the panel. Slide in an upward direction. Do not pull out or you will break the retaining clips and have to replace the whole panel. I remember this part real well. It took me a bit to figure out.
Click Here for a little step by step pictorial from Stan's page to see how to remove the door panel.
