casting # of 460 heads
i am putimg together a 460 for my f350 i have a early 460 out of a car. i was told not to use the heads if they are 1972. i can't find any casting # on the heads. the block #d1ve 1971 by d1. the exaust manifolds have #d5ve. 1975. but like i said i cant find any # on the heads. how can i find out year of heads? thanks.
