Spending over 8000 hours as an apprentice telecom tech pulling and terminating lots of wire. After I got my journeyman license about 8 years ago, I hardly ever had to pull wire anymore. Funny how that works.
Back in the days when a process control computer was BIG and had thousands of wires running point to point and wrapped around terminal pins, I used to apply power to a new system for the first time and locate and correct wiring errors. Making a prototype system that had never worked before function was a blast.

Yeah, I started in telecom as a wire puller 7 years ago.
Now I write orders for others to pull wire and program the PBX.
