Does someone knows if the right and left spring seats are interchangeables in the 1989 F150 4x4?
Have had some poblems with a spring damaging the shock absorver when suspension is working hard, have realize that it may be that the spring seats are not the righ ones for my truck or may be switched (the right to left and so on).....
Also would like to know if there are in the market poly pivot and radius arms bushings as well as advantages and disadvantages.....
Poly bushings are harder and more durable than rubber. THey will also allow for a little more articulation because the bushings are not fused to the sleeves or the inside of the axle pivots. I have heard someone say that poly radius arm bushings are more likely to cause the brakets to crack, but I do not know if it is true or if there is any real facts behind the claim.
Thanks a lot for the leads, the only thing I need to know now is if the spring base plates on the 1989 F150 4x4 are interchangeables or are they dedicated for each side.....
