My Build Date?
I got my buid date from the dealer yesterday. My truck will be built the week of July 15th and delivered the week of August 5. This means it will be a Job 1 truck. Do you think buying a Job 1 truck is a good thing, a bad thing, or an indifferent thing? Will the factory workers be well rested after their two week vacation and come back motivated and ready to produce a higher than usual quality product? Or will they come back dreading going back to work and build shoddy product? Or (and this is the most likely case) am I reading WAY too much into this?

An indifferent thing. These folks have built bunches of them the last few years. If a person worries about all that could go wrong in a vehicle manufacturing process it would drive them crazy. Most of the work involved in building a vehicle is done to the parts before they arrive at the assembly plant.Such as engines,transmissions,axles,etc...There are a whole lot of machining processes invloved in producing these three items alone.
Enjoy your new truck when it arrives!
