223???

does the 223 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 240/300.????

I've been told no but,everytime I see one at the junkyard they look like they are the same.You might take a tape measure and check it out.

kinda cold right now to be crawlin around junk yards.I've heard yes and no.Has anyone swapped the tranny on a 223??? what did you use??

According to All the Co.'s that I have communicated w/ that make the Tranny Adapters, the 215-223-262 & 240-300 are different blocks so different Bell Housings for each family of block.
