i'd like to find out what kind of rear end i have so i used the decode the site provides. the problem is that my sticker says 12 under the axle column and, according to the decoder, thats not an option. it only says 18, 19, H9, and B6. anybody know if there's another decoder somewhere. i did a search on yahoo, but couldn't find anything.
If it is a 2.73 then ford has a misprint in their service manual. And seeng as how many other sources say it's a 2.73 then it seems as if ford did mess up.
