Read this thread for the info on the injectors. Seems to be one of the major problems with the 03 PSD.

Seems Ford recalled all fuel injectors in inventory by mid April 2003 and began using a new design, but some engines may have still been built with old style injectors until May 03, 2003.
Looks to me like you should be ok with the bad injectors....
As a lot of others say here.... "Drive it like you stole it and enjoy your truck" I know I do mine.... Love it!!!!

Have your service writer look up your VIN and should be able to tell you which injectors you have. I have the C94 injectors and so far so good.
I would check your lower radiator hose and see if there is clearance and any sign of rubbing against the steering box. Mine was wearing the hose where it would rub. Ford replaced it with a newer model hose.

Important update to instructions on page 6, 17 posts down from the top of page.
ODOMETER reading at time of problem is critical.
In addition, please read more instructions, bottom of first page, posted by Tim L
Tell as many as you can about this thread.
The simpler the writing (posting) of “problem/odometer” reading………….the easier it will be to collate. Do not need many words. I must reduce all the date into a usable format; extra words will take more time to complete.
