If It's got a converter in it, you'll probably have to go to the dealer. Although, some part stores sell direct fit converters already built into the y-pipe. A cheaper alternative might be to dual out the exhaust sustem. plus it makes more power and sounds great.
The duals would be the answer --- already equipted with duals without cat -- for pa inspection the mech must do a visual and the cats must be on --- since the y pipe has been hacked i need to go the stock set up

Btw, are the mech doing a visual on the A.I.R. pump as well, or just the CATs? just curious as i'll have to get mine done soon.
They now look at all parts of emission system -- air pump - canisters and they have to check the emission tags to decide what your veh has to have -- alos the note tire size
I guess if you have changed engines you may have a real problem or had to replace the rad core or fenders and lost tags, I guess you have to find the tags somewhere
