headers

I was wondering if headers for a 1979 F350 will fit in my 1980 F350, or if I will have to modify them any. I am building a new 400 with a comp cams 265 DEH cam, edelbrock performer intake and 600 cfm carb. My passenger side exhaust manifold is cracked, and I can't find '80 headers.

Thanks for the info in advance.

I would think they would work. I have a 68,74,78,81, there is not that much diffance in the frames. Mine all have autos in them, is yours? All of mine are 2 wheel drive, is yours? That is a real nice cam, it will love headers. Are you running stock rockers?

If I'm not mistaken, the front frame horns on the '80 are wider than those of the '79. They should fit. But, I'll do some checking, and try to get bac with a part number and price.

74 F100 351m, mine is an auto, 4x4. I am using factory spec rockers, and springs, but new ones. A freind of mine has a machine shop and he is putting the long block together for me. I can't wait to get this thing put together. I knew my 351 was running a little rough, so we did a compression test. I have no compression in one cylender, and low in two others. It still runs and will haul a decent load though.

Thanks for the info.

I did a check last night, and came up with Hedman. They have them for 80-85 f150 and bronco, but these should work on a f350
