DOOE Heads

Does anyone know any info about DOOE 351 heads? I just got a set with a 302 block, a 351W marine block, and some chrome Ford Racing valve covers and for $300. I was told that the heads have the biggest valves possible in them and that they flow very nicely. they also came with roller rockers on them, but I'm not sure what kind.
what is the most potential of a set of DOOE 351 heads on a 302?

Well in simple terms they fit somewhere in between stock gt-40 and stock gt-40p heads as far as flow. So relistically they are better than the e5/e7 in stock form as well, which is another head put on most mustang 302's. So they aren't that bad. If you are willing to put some money into them, as in having quality port and polish done along with a three angle valve job, etc. They would make for a very nice set of heads, that could grow along with your need for additional speed. later

The things to do to these heads include:

new hardened valve seats for 1.94/1.60 valves
new bronze guides
portwork (concentrate on exhaust side)
3 angle valve job
stainless one piece valves
good valve springs
block mating surface machined
machine the rocker studs for screw in adjustable studs(7/16's)

if you need pics of what a finished set of these heads look like lemme know.......I have pics of a nice finished set.

Wow, props to Capone. It seems like I don't see as much succinct and accurate info on here these days but he nailed it.

The one thing I forgot to mention was to check and see if your coolant passages lined up with the ones on the block.....

I have een some 351W heads that have the passages on the inside of each head bolt hole....as opposed to beside it....

PM me your email and I will have a few pics in your inbox...
