Update on My Purchase

Okay guys let me know what you think on this one.

2001 Expy EB in Black
Power Sunroof
Captains Chairs
Heated Seats
Parking Assist
4 new tires
62000 Miles

$20,500 that is the dealer asking before I knock them down

There is one concern. On the roof by the front part of the sunroof (closest to the hood) there are 4 or 5 paint blemishes (along the paint on the join of the windshield) that have come away and rusted. Dealer will have an autobody shop replace to factory finish and write up order stating they will be responsible for any paint problems that occurs due to this.

WHat do you all think ? Is this something that should stop me making this deal ?

I'm on the fence, great deal, no problems with carfax, just the rust thing

Let me know as my search continues

Thanks

WC

4x4

I know the miles are high, they have a green 2001 as well with rear entertainment and everything else listed apart from heated seats for $23k with only 48k miles but I've been trying to find a blue or black

Price sounds a little high to me. Down here in Houston, these things are a dime a dozen. It might behoove you to travel for a better deal.

I hear ya

Do you think the rust thing is anything to be concerned with considering a bodyshop will be fixing the issue ?

Bodyshop will fix that right up...I wouldn't worry about that. Just make sure they do a good job and it will seal it. Does it have air ride susp? I don't recommend buying one with that many miles on it if it does.
